Ultimate Event Promotions UEP 4: Vendetta rocks the Daphne Civic Center!!

Ultimate Event Promotions roared into the Daphne Civic Center with the UEP 4 Vendetta Cage Fight on July 18th. In front of a capacity crowd, some of the finest cage fighters along the Gulf Coast went to war in the steel cage with other top contenders from around the region.

The approximately 1000 fight fans in attendance were treated to submissions, knockouts, stoppages and decisions as 30 fighters from the top MMA schools in the South fought it out on what many stated was the best fight card they had ever seen.

Jason Knight from Remix MMA (home of UFC Veteran Alan ‘The Talent” Belcher) was victorious over Antony Johnson of Tampa FL and was awarded Submission of the Night honors. Jason is ranked #1 by UEP in the 145 pound amateur division.

Adam Jones of Port City MMA in Mobile AL, which is owned and operated by Jimmy Mills, was awarded “Knockout of the Night” for his second round knockout of Josh West.

Matthew George (Port City MMA) defeated Chris Berren (Pensacola Boxing Academy) by a slim margin in a tough fought three round decision. Matthew George was awarded “Fight of the Night” for his efforts.

Special guests in attendance included UFC Fighters Alan Belcher and Rich Clementi as well as NFL players and Alabama graduates Wallace Gilberry and Atlas Harian.
